Tom
is an experienced keynote speaker, trainer, and webinar and online presentation expert. He delivers
sales and presentation skills training programs to companies
of all sizes, both domestically and abroad.
Tom is an award-winning sales professional who has presented to thousands throughout the United
States, Britain, Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands in person and through his innovative online and Webinar training. He
has spoken for organizations including WebEx, Symantec, VERITAS,
Old Republic Title, and Bank of America. Tom has delivered
speeches and presentations at venues including UC Berkeley
Graduate Business School, Association of Legal Administrators,
San Francisco State University, and the National Speakers
Association. He has trained numerous companies and organizations,
such as Old Republic Title, the German Government in Berlin,
and fast growing technology companies. He has also delivered
programs to several non-profits groups in the Bay Area, including
Walden House, Management Center and Institute of Aging.
Tom was
Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Zoom Systems, an innovative
e-commerce company with offices in San Francisco, Australia
and Germany, which was funded by investors such as CitiCorp
and Bank of America Securities. Clients included Motorola,
AT&T, Hilton Hotels, McDonalds, Avis Rental Car, Kinko's
and Kmart.
Tom was
also Vice President of Sales for Cole Valley Software, which
sold enterprise CRM and marketing software to large professional
services firms across the United States and Europe. Clients
included several major law firms, as well as PWCoopers. Following
a merger with a similar software company, their combined clients
included AOL Time Warner, Sony and Pfizer International.
He was
Founder and President of Active Stick Wear which designed,
manufactured, and distributed active wear and merchandise
to 87 department store chains including Macy's, Penney's,
Sears, Kids R Us, Footlocker and Wal-Mart.
Tom also
has an extensive entertainment background. Following his graduation
from college, he spent some time in Hollywood where he studied
improvisation, acted in commercials, had a lead role in a
sitcom pilot, and played small parts on soap operas including
Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, and Young and The Restless.
Most recently, he performed humorous monologues at the Shelton
Theater in downtown San Francisco and was a host on Inside
City Limits, a cable show covering arts and entertainment
in San Francisco.
Tom graduated
from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a double major in Economics and Psychology.
